Role Description:The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and the delivery of excellent HR services to employees.
Core Responsibilities:
- Time Keeping: Support the maintenance and accuracy of timekeeping records and assist employees with timekeeping inquiries and issues.
- Recruitment: Screen resumes for various positions, schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interviewers. Create and send offer letters to selected candidates. Conduct pre-employment checks including background and reference checks. Send necessary new hire paperwork and follow up on its completion.
- Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth and compliant transition for new employees.
- Training Support: Track and maintain employee training records and assist in scheduling training sessions and workshops.
- Leave of Absences: Assist employees with LOA related questions and process.
- Employee Communication: Assist with the preparation and distribution of employee mailers and announcements. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR communications.
- Company Events: Assist in the planning of company events and activities.
- HR Support Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience in HR field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum Of 1-3 Years' Experience In Related Role Preferred.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse workforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Professional and friendly customer service skills.
- Sense of urgency and a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency in existing processes.
