Exiled.

Tommy had been exiled.

He had been sent to live out of Manburg, away from everyone, keeping under the watchful eye of Dream. He saw Tubbos eyes, he knew he was supposed to feel mad, disgraced, angered anything just anything then a failure. Dream had proposed to send him to Snaktooth island. He knew it was just so he could die, no one would ever come to look for him.

Tommy shifted his gaze up, looking at the green grumpus’ mask that covered up his face before turning to look at Tubbo. Tears brimming at the corner of his eyes. Dream turned his gaze down to him.

“Let's go” Dream commanded, Tommy looked towards Tubbo one last time before turning to follow Dream. Knowing that this, this is the last time he would see anyone other than Dream.

He was led to a small raft, where Dream stood onto it first before Tommy sat down. The raft was tied off of the pitch that held it there and then they left. A Journey to Snaktooth island, his prison until he dies. He hoped that Dream would let him be buried properly, exactly how he wanted it to be. A nice casket next to where his brother laid. And yet, the hope of that slowly leaked away every day, like a broken glass that was once full of water. There was nothing for him but the island.

“We’re here Tommy” Dream said, breaking him out of his thoughts. He sighed before hopping off, the island was odd. Something about it felt. Wrong, but he couldn’t tell what. He turned to face Dream.

“Where are you going?” He questioned.

“Going back.”

“Back where?”

“To Manburg, I’ll visit you every few days. Like the good friend I am”

And then Dream left. Tommy was all alone.

He walked around the beach a bit, looking to see what he could gather. A little shift in the bushes made him curious, when he turned over to look there was nothing there. His eyes gazed over to a hole, at least there would be some animals who may keep him company in some way at least. Tiny little footsteps could be heard coming from the whole, then something silver started to poke out, the rest of the creature came out and was.

It was weird that's all Tommy could say.

The creature was some kind of bug, but also some kind of snack. It was a bug snack… That's it! He would call this new animal a bugsnax!

The creature came up to him, lying down in front of him before saying one thing.

“Kweeble!”

Tommy’s heart melted as he picked the creature, the bugsnax snuggling into his arms. He placed a hand on top of it, the bugsnax drew into his touch, resting the top of its head in his head, turning around to show Tommy its belly, which he audibly coo-ed at. He started giving it belly rubs and it replied with another happy giggle of “Kweeble!”.

Another shuffling bush, he looked up. Another creature that was a mix between a bug and a snack, another bugsnax. “You all must be an undiscovered species.” Tommy whispered to the bugsnax that he had dubbed a keewble (look, he thought they were like pokemon, alright). The new bugsnax started to come up to him, it seemed like some type of strawberry that walked on three of its petals.

“Ohh hello there,” The strawberry tried to move the kweeble out of his arms, successfully making it fall out of the area where it was snuggling into him, “Oi don’t do that! Don’t be an ass”

Both of them didn’t seem to care that the strawberry, or well strabby, started to walk away, looking back to see if Tommy would follow it. Tommy stood up and walked behind the strabby into a large open field. He marvelled at it before he felt something ram into his leg, making him fall down.

There was another creature, excitedly saying “bunger” over and over again to his face. Tommy brought his hand up to start petting it. What was so bad about this place? Why was he worried at all? He could see why no one would ever come back. It was amazing, filled with lovely and adorable creatures!

Tommy looked at the bunger again, saying one thing to him “I think I’m going to name you Bunery”

---

When Dream came back to check on him it was too early. He always made sure his pets hid when he caught a single sight of Dream in the distance, making sure that they were safe and couldn’t be hurt. But he had been too lazy, and Dream was his friend! Why didn’t he trust him!

Tommy had to think, Dream was his friend. He shouldn’t be scared of showing him one of the bugsnax! But he was scared, something in his mind said that Dream wasn’t his friend. That the only one there for him was the bugsnax. (There was also a much smaller, but more demanding voice that sounded like Tubbo telling him that neither were his friends. That voice was always drowned out by the others though.)

He saw Dream slowly approaching in the distance, he turned to Shroud, a pineantula that he had grown to adore. If anything bad happened to Shroud he could hide underground, impossible for Dream to come and capture him. Making it so only he could be hurt for his selfishness.

Dream had landed on the shore, Tommy happily welcomed him.

“Dream! Hello, welcome back to Logdeshire! How's my exile going? Is Tubbo thinking of bringing me back to L’manburg soon?”

Dream sighed, “Nice to meet you too Tommy, next time maybe don’t ask such dumb questions. You know that Tubbo never wants you to return. Remember?” The grumpus put his hands behind his back before looking down. “Oh? What's this?”

Tommy turned around before picking up Shroud. “This is Shroud! He’s a bugsnax! More specifically a pineantula!”

Dream bent down to poke at Shroud. “It’s, well. Something.”

Dream then brought out a shovel, starting to dig down a hole. Looking over at Tommy who looked conflicted for a few seconds before bringing his stuff out, throwing it into the hole. Tommy stepped back as Dream threw in a stick of tnt, blowing up everything. He stood there destroyed before gaining his senses, looking down to Shroud who had huddled under the sand, quivering in fear.

“Get it out.” Tommy turned over to Dream's voice.

“What, why?”

He gave out a laugh, “To show everyone of course! Tubbo might even consider stopping your exile!”

Tommy’s eyes lit up. “Wait, wait. Really? I’ll go find someone who is much more happy to meet new people! I can give you one of the popticks! They love new people!”

Tommy led Dream up to Logeshire to give him one of the popticks, giving a hearty goodbye to the one that Dream chose. And while Dream would have preferred one of the other ones, it was fine. It could work just as well. He had the perfect plan.

---

A knock bashed onto the door of Tubbo’s office, he looked up bandaged face towards the door before speaking.

“Come in.”

Dream waltzed through, opening the door. A sad look painting his face.

“Tubbo, I have bad news for you.”

His face dropped as Dream placed a poptick onto the desk. “Tommy ran off, his home was destroyed.”

“What, what do you mean?”

“What I mean Tubbo is that Tommy hates you, he never wants to return.”

Tears started brimming at the edges of his eyes.

“Tubbo, he would do anything to stay away from you. He never saw you as his friend”

Tubbo stood up before running out the door, bashing it open and running into the arms of a confused minute man who petted his back and told him that they would be there for him throughout everything. Tubbo hoped Ranboo wasn’t lying.

---

Tommy messed up, he messed up so bad.

He angered Dream, and ran off like the coward he was. He ran to the top of the mountain, crying large blobs of tears. A few of his friends had followed him up to the top of the mountain with Dream dashing behind them.

He should have trusted them, they knew better, they told him that Dream was dangerous and what did Tommy do? He ignored them. Climbing up the mountain his fur stood up before he fell. His friends stayed with him to help him up. He was up and running again. Running into a cave by the side of the mountain before he heard it.

That was before he stopped dead in his tracks, hearing a terrified screech come from behind where Dream was. He turned around trembling as Dream held onto his friend, his first friend the kweeble that had come up to him when he was first left on this island. The first true friend he had made, the only true first friend he had ever made.

“Dream, no, no, no don’t hurt her. I’ll do anything just don’t hurt her!” Tommy begged, Dream looked up. Beckoning him over with the sword that was placed over to where the kweeble was stuck in his arms. Tommy came up on a particularly shaky piece of rock.

“Tommy, I’ll give her to you look, see,” Dream placed Tommy’s kweeble back into his hands and started to smile in happiness, right before throwing him up and cutting his bandana making him fall straight to the ground.

Before he knew it there was an explosion, falling and seeing Dream run off before he was enveloped in a black inky abyss down below the surface of the island, where light could never touch his fur again.

---

Dream had returned to L’manburg, walking up to Tubbo with a forlorn look on his face. When Tubbo had seen him the colour had drained from his face. Dream never came to him about Tommy, he should be excited. Yet with the green bandana held in his left hand he knew that he was gone, that he was dead.

Ever since he had given Tommy the bandana he never took it off, once he saw Tommy wearing it in the shower when he accidentally walked in on him showering. Tubbo turned his eyes to look up at Dream.

“Hes? He’s not-” Tears choked up his throat.

“I’m sorry Tubbo”

It was as if a waterfall had started flowing, a dam had smashed open and his heart was the wall keeping the floodgates in. He was crushed, broken into tiny parts unable to be put back together ever again. His best friend was dead. And he would never see him again.

“Did- did you bring back his body?”

Dream sighed, “It was too gruesome and destroyed. He wasn’t in one piece. Tubbo I am so so so sorry”

Tubbo started to cry once more.

The funeral was the week after.

That same day it was made illegal to ever go to Snaktooth island, it was too dangerous and no one ever could live there and survive.

Two weeks after the funeral Tubbo stepped down as president, him and Ranboo leaving to the arctic to start a home, getting married to one another. Soon adopting an orphaned pink grumpkin who they had named Michael.

---

Tommy felt a violent and burning pain through his body.

He could hear someone screaming. He knew that it was him. Soon he heard something in the back of his mind. Small, quiet whispers of Queen-Queen-Queen repeating over and over again. He slowly prided open his eyes, a small familiar silhouette graced his eyes.

He let out a low whine as she came up to cuddle with him. More bugsnax came up to him, some getting closer and closer to his mouth. His stomach grumbled as he closed his eyes. Sweet tastes then entered his body, he could feel it slowly getting stronger and stronger before he went back to sleep. His kweeble snuggled up right next to him.

Next time he awoke he was bigger than before, he was stronger too. He knew what he was, it was what they were whispering to him in the back of his head. He was the queen of bugsnax. He watched as the rest crowded around him. His body had been transformed, there were bits of different bugsnaxs all part of him. He was now a part of them, he was a busnax.

And he was the queen of bugsnax. They were all he had, and his only friends. He was one of them.
